“A foundation built on low-intensity volume, technique and skills is the surest way to success. Strength and durability built on this foundation make the magic happen.”

I have always been involved in endurance sports being competitive in long-distance running and swimming in my school years, progressing to distance running in my twenties. After losing my way in my 30’s to corporate life I returned to the sport of triathlon in my late thirties focusing on the long events of 70.3 and Ironman.

I have been participating in Ironman, Ultras and Epic cycles for the last 22 years, coaching for the last 7. Along the way, I have accumulated key qualifications including national accreditation, TrainingPeaks Level 2, Sports Nutrition Certification and Primal health certification.

My approach is holistic, focusing first on available time, recovery windows and lifestyle, then providing an individual program fitting the available time and goals. I find direct conversation and open feedback both ways as a key to success.

I have succeeded in some big adventures myself including 14 IRONMAN races, the Comrades Marathon, and many Epic rides and swims. I have many more planned but my greatest fulfilment is helping others do the same.
